Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
  • We will collect and use of personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
  • We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
  • We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
  • Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
  • We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.

Health & Fitness Information

ParaFit may collect and process health and fitness information provided by users, including but not limited to age, gender, height, weight, fitness goals, dietary preferences, food allergies, medical conditions, nutritional requirements, activity information, exercise information, sleep information, calorie intake/burn information, progress measurements and other health-related information voluntarily provided by the user.

This information is used to provide and personalize ParaFit’s services, including creating customized diet and meal plans, providing nutritionist support, recommending meals and activities, tracking fitness and nutrition progress, and improving the user’s experience within the ParaFit application.

Health and fitness information is not passed on to third parties. Where such information is processed by service providers acting on our behalf, those providers are required to process the information only for the purposes necessary to provide the relevant service and in accordance with applicable contractual and security requirements.

Data Retention

ParaFit retains user information for as long as necessary to provide the services, maintain the user’s account, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and maintain legitimate business records.

Health and fitness information associated with an active account is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide customized nutrition, meal planning and progress-tracking services.

When a user requests deletion of their account, ParaFit will delete or anonymize personal information and health information associated with the account, subject to any information that we are legally required or legitimately permitted to retain. Any retained information will be limited to the applicable purpose and retained only for the period required.

Account & Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their ParaFit account and associated personal and health information at any time.

In-app deletion: Users can request account deletion through [Profile → Settings → Delete Account].

Web deletion: Users may also submit a deletion request through parafit. in.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, ParaFit will process the request within 5 days. Personal information and health information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required or permitted for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes.
If certain information must be retained, ParaFit will retain only the information necessary for the applicable purpose and will delete it when the retention requirement expires.
